Lithichrome Gold has been in use in the stone and monument industries for twenty-four years.  It is made in a spraying consistency, so if being brushed, two coats will be required.  Once the coating has started to set it should not be disturbed by further brushing.  Ordinarily spraying gives the best appearing coating.  ​
